I've always like the faster paced cruiserweight style of match. By far my favorite WWE wrestler of this time period was Ricky Steamboat. I would much rather watch matches where wrestlers are actually chaining there moves together fluidly one right after another than watch Hogan or Andre lumber around the ring, do one body slam, stomp around, pose for the crowd, then go into a boring bear hug for five minutes followed by a test of strength for another three minutes. To me it was never a good sign if Mean Gene Okerlund moved around the ring faster than your world champion could pace a match.
