Nah. It is memory, wouldn't call it hardware. You want the basic Iphone, you get 8gb. You want 16gb, it is $100 more, and so forth. I believe, you get an Android phone, like the Galaxy, and it comes with a 2gb microSD card. You want more memory, and you can go get a 32gb microSD for like 60-80bucks(?). If you are going to be taking HD video with it, you should spend the extra and get a Class10 microSD card. That is the only reason I've read where you would notice a difference in performance out of the cards.
