Anyone gonna watch? I'll post some thoughts as it goes along. The theme is foreign policy. Huntsman's and Gingrich's chance to shine, Cain and Perry need to show some depth of knowledge. Should be interesting and entertaining. Let's see if Romney slips or holds the lead, all he needs to do is avoid a gaffe.

Gingrich wants to assassinate Iranian scientists. Cain was not smooth. Romney looks good.

Perry is out of his depth. Listen to our commanders, it's tough, Obama is bad.

Bachman scores! Good answer, she knows what is happening in Afghanistan. I agree with Huntsman but conservatives won't.

Santorum is a prick, but he gave a good answer re:Pakistan. At the break, I am surprised how well it's going. I notice a smaller crowd, and I wonder if there is any foreign country besides Israel some of these guys would admit to supporting.

Major Garrett lobbed a few softballs there.

Double laughs from Perry, good comeback. Perry doing good stressing his experience as Governor.

Pro-waterboarding gets applause from the crowd...ugh. And, so does Ron Paul for saying it is torture. Huntsman again gives a good answer, torture hurts our values and waterboarding is torture.

Romney changed boos to cheers. He will be the nominee I think. Now, the commentator says no boos.

Perry, Romney, and Huntsman all had good responses on China. I'm a liberal and would never vote for any of these Republicans, but they are doing well in this debate, except Cain stumbled a few times. It will be interesting if I can find some talking head analysis to see if they agree with me or if I missed anything.

Obama is so ripe for the picking that the A through D teams are in the race. Makes for entertaining tv.

Pretty sure they held this debate in our small city. Lots of black suburbans around and breathless local news anchors.

If you want the Republican nomination, you have to acknowledge our early primary and you have to speak at the Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg.

Nah, our local news couldn't care less about lil wayne unless it prompted a rash of shootings.
