It's hard to find a good pickle on the commercial market. I can't stand Vlasic, Claussen, or Mt. Olive. Nathan's are the shit, but kind of pricey. Great Value makes a mean dill chip for burgers, but I've never tried any of their other varieties. I might have to take figgs up on his suggestion.

I had a friend who used to jar up his own sweet pickles using his grandma's recipe, and they were just amazing. I love homeade pickles regardless of type.
