OK, about the whole mole thing...

I think I am infested by miniature ninja moles. At first I thought the holes around the edge of the yard (where the gardens and flowering plants are located) were made by cicadas. There never seemed to be connected tunnels and they seemed a bit small for full grown moles. Then two things happened. First, I noticed at least two of the neighbor cats hanging out in yard staring intently at the plants almost every night. Then, I noticed a long (but still tiny in diameter) tunnel in the lawn almost as it was being made or directly afterward. ... and FINALLY! I found a dead mole
outside the garage one morning.

Anyway, still can't find the "nest" and any pipe bigger than a drinking straw isn't going to work since the end of a garden hose is too big. Second, there are hundreds of holes and most are old and unused. Can't find anything at the local garden center either. Oh well.

Any other suggestions?
