If the property is in Cali your options are limited. If no one else but you knows about them, it might be worth your while to get some traps, the old fashioned kind, to take care of the problem yourself, and then you'd need to burn or bury all the evidence. I don't think the live nuisance trappers will help you, in fact they could report it to the state. If the government finds out the state can confiscate your property in the name of protecting them.
