According to a thread at GFY.com started by someone who works for AVN, there's a possible new HIV outbreak affecting the porn industry. I certainly hope it turns out to be a false positive.

"We received this info from a very credible source who wishes to remain anonymous at this point. There is an adult performer of unspecified gender that was possible tested positive or false-positive in Miami. The source made reference of a production company that will halt production in North America till things become more clear in an effort to avoid spreading the virus. I believe more production companies will follow."

Patient Zero is a male.

He actively worked with some of the largest production companies

Several of the large LA based agents are actively working to comply a quarantine they have the full support of the production companies involved except one

There are 12 females that have been identified as level one exposures, plus one LA based performer male with whom he did a straight boy/boy/girl scene."

"The large LA agents are working on a list.

The performer who contracted HIV is Florida based and all of the exposures happened in Florida as well.

If this was in LA it would have been handled in a much more efficient manner as the agents out here are very organized.

People have to remember it is very hard contract HIV through normal sexual intercourse, and just because models have been exposed does not mean they will get it."
