What are some of the tritone brands? I will start with Kool-Aid

Don't get going on that Kool-Aid. I still enjoy a nice glass of Kool-Aid in the summertime. My favorite flavor? Red.

I also like Kool-Aid. Last month I ordered 192 packets of Mango and Pineapple Kool-Aid, I am mixing it daily basis. But in a way I think that Kool-Aid is a tritone brand in the urban cities, because whiteys only drink it if they are from the suburbs. You gotta try Mango and Pineapple, these are the "Fresca" flavors that are aimed for Latinos. They don't sell these in stores (at least in NYC), so Amazon is the only place to get it. Try these flavors with 3 ice cubes in a cup and you will love it. Also try adding 4-6oz of Finest Call strawberry puree per 2 quarts or 2 liters of Kool-Aid.

P.S. I knew a old timer from below the Mason/Dixon, that always said when he was a kid, they were so poor, he was raised on chicken and Kool Aid. Later in life, he'd go out of his way not to eat chicken. Only time I ever saw him eat it, was a Chicken and Dumpling dinner at a firehouse near him. I don't blame him though, that was FN good food. I imagine if your mom hasn't been making chicken and dumplings as long as you can remember, the women's auxillary at a southern firehouse will be the best you'll ever have. Not to mention the pie those ladies made, Good God!

Funyuns are made by Frito-Lay. I could see some fucked up ghetto imitation brand, but not a name brand product, they're just too expensive.

It has something to do with the amount of sodium and flavor involved. There's also a breath-stank factor. Funyuns, Cool Ranch Doritos, Flamin' Hot whatever, Hot Fries, and Snyders's Honey Mustard and Onion Pretzels were always dangling from the hands of all the black kids I went to summer camp with back in the day. That doesn't mean your ghetto if ya' like em', but if you are ghetto, it would be unusual to not like em. You can take the ghetto out of the zesty snacks, but you can't take the zesty snacks out of the ghetto.

Those are all the spendier items. Snyders and Doritos especially. Actually they all, and there are alternative off-brands, so I can't get why they'd be ghetto staples. Oh. Food stamps. Never mind.

If you go to the .99 cent story you can buy 12 packages of Kool Aid for .99 cents. The regular grocery stores want to charge you .99 for 4 packets so I walked out. That is a 300% savings.

Is there a way the government could give it to the urban types for free? Why should they have to buy their own juice?
