You've got an MGB as well? Sweet.

My friend's Dad bought a slightly used 1950 MG for fifty bucks when he came home from the Korean War. Kept that thing pristene through the decades. Through Med School, through a career in Sports medicine and through retirement.

When he passed, it it didn't go to my friend, or to his brother. It went to his Brazilian son-in-law. Even I was pissed off by that one, and I had no stake in the outcome whatsoever.

Either of those machines, though, would give me reason to actually go out and get a license. I do know how to drive, but, being a New Yorker, the mandatory insurance is an unnecessary expense. For a Jag or an MG, I'd do it.
