I'm not the biggest country fan, but I always thought that Randy was the last of country's glory days of the 70's/early 80's, before the line dancing generation and today's generation of "atleast it aint rap".
One of them, along with George Strait and Dwight Yoakum. Though Dwight definitely has a streak of cowpunk in a lot of his stuff.
