Since there seems such an emphasis on Northrop's role, where Lou don't even wanna change the subject, I will issue an official statement. I don't mind the stale beer and stale urine colors of the new design so much. That doesn't bother me. But, being more sensitized towards what is commercialized than most, I have an issue with all the advertisements filling up every square inch of the borders. Most don't think like this, but to me, I don't see how you can't consider providing content here being much more than cheap labor for promoting JM Productions. E.g., "hey! look at this great thing Northrop posted: Link". Meanwhile, there's handy advertisements for JM all over the same page where Northrop wowed everyone with his astonishing wit!

I don't care about JM. I'm not some idiot that thinks they should be sent to jail for what they do. But, I certainly don't want to promote their efforts either. As such, I have no intention of being anything more than wallpaper as long as the over-use of advertisements remain. Before the re-design, it seemed to me more of a sponsorship role JM was using with the site which was fine with me. But now they've gone full blown, milk it for any publicity you can...

And no this isn't a big loss for XPT (now apparently JOZ), it'd be a long time since I put any really effort anyway. But I appreciate my fans making an issue of Northrop's role, providing me a podium for getting that off my chest.
