Over the past year or so, Donald has created for himself something he does not want to lose: a family of his own.

After a life of utter failure and lacking any real fulfillment, he has gained something of intrinsic value. In spite of everything he has disclosed about her (he said among other things: she is a latin spinner, has latin hips, is a bi-sexual, her family is loaded with cash, etc.) we all know she is simply a young lady from a humble background. Donald has likely severely lied to her about his background and I believe he knows that if she were to find out the truth about his background, then she would leave him.

Consider as you negotiate with him that he has something he does not want to lose – his recent letter of admission/guilt may speak to this. If the dominos were to fall and his family were to fall apart, I suspect he would act as a person with nothing to lose. Very bad things could result.
