I had a girlfriend who was Catholic and a hardcore hypocrite. We got into a fight one time and she threw it in my face that I was an atheist(Although when drunk or high more agnostic) and how she could never truly trust me becasue of it. I responded that I was a godless man but I never cheated on a spouse, been divorced or had an abortion and I didn't bribe a priest with donations to absolve me of my guilt which is why I didn't trust her. She just cried, called me a bastard and went home. Oddly we continued to date and have sex off on for a couple years.
