Michigan is great in the summer. This was a seemingly clean river, the south branch of the Rifle River. Some of the farms around the area have a heavy barnyard smell, other than that, this part of Michigan I really enjoy. It is slightly cooler here than back in Dayton, and there are backroads and trails aplenty.

We were out around West Branch and Grayling today. Camped near a little town named Sterling.

I think you need a passport or visa or something to go to Canada, I also know if you have an old drunk driving charge you probably won't get in.
