For some reason the Canadian ones really have not caught on as a form of online payment. Even if I buy stuff from Canadian mail order places I usually send a cheque or use PayPal. I hope that evolves.

As far as being anonymous and porn goes I gave that up long ago while I was working managing and doing stock at a porn shop.

I buy those VISA cards once in a while so I can get computer games online when I can't find them in actual shops. I always feel like a chump doing it but it takes a week to transfer funds from my bank to PayPal (they like to get as much as they can on that interest).

The other thing to consider is the strength of the Canadian dollar. A 25$ gift card SHOULD buy me a bit more than 25$ at a shop based in the US but it doesn't.

I don't think BI is a total shit bag though, that thing I mentioned about emailing him and getting a few day free trial to his sites a few years ago is totally true. And it's no secret he has fallen on hard times.
