DELAWARE, Ohio — The woman who was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly sprayed Delaware County sheriff's deputies with breast milk is a teacher in Columbus, 10TV News reported on Tuesday.

Stephanie Robinette is employed at Summit Academy, a public charter school that specializes in the education of children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and Asperger syndrome.

According to the school's Web site, Robinette teaches second and third grades. The school is now on summer break, 10TV's Chuck Strickler reported.

...

Deputies who arrived at the scene said Robinette was yelling profanities and refused to get out of the car, with the door open.

"Then she took out one of her breasts and literally started pumping her breast to spray the milk on officers," said Sheriff Walter Davis II.

....

Robinette, who was arraigned via video in Delaware County on Monday, apologized for her actions.

"I have no criminal record and I take these charges very seriously," Robinette said. "I absolutely intend to seek help for substance abuse with alcohol because alcoholism does run in my family and I'm addressing that, and (am) absolutely serious to go forward with counseling and rehabilitation."

Robinette was released from jail after her court appearance and faces five charges and possibly more, Strickler reported.
