I was a communications major in college and we actually learned about Max Hardcore in COMM LAW 101.The DOJ tried to prosecute Max as a child pornographer B/C the female performers in his videos were dressed like little girls. The supreme court ruled that Max had not broken the law B/C the girls were not in fact minors, and having sex with a woman of legal age who is dressed like a child is not the same thing as having sex with a child. Max bragged about his victory on his web site, touting himself as a defender of free speech while flipping off the DOJ with both hands. No wonder he went down. When you ridicule and embarrass law enforcement they're going to have a vendetta against you. There could be thousands of other perps out there who are a bigger threat to society, but they'll focus their effort on the one who makes them look stupid.
