Leonard Pope saves boy's life

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Leonard Pope, whose nickname is "Champ," lived up to the moniker last weekend when he saved a 6-year-old boy from drowning in a swimming pool.

The Chiefs' backup tight end on Saturday saved the son of a longtime friend from drowning in his hometown of Americus, Ga.

The boy's mother, Anne Moore, told the Americus Times Recorder that Pope was the only person at the party who knew how to swim. Pope said he learned how to swim when he was 9 or 10 years old.

How can you have a pool or a pool party if the adults don't know how to swim?

Guy was a physical freak (6'8, 264)3rd round pick, that never did anything with the Cardinals. 5TDs one season, 3 TDs and a new team in the 3 seasons since. Guy must have horrible hands to be 6'8 and not be a Red Zone threat.

One little boy is happy for the lock out.

The adults at the party should be drowned in the pool.

I don't get how you can have a pool, put kids in it and NO ONE can swim.

THAT has to be a CRIME.
