This reminds me of when I pissed someone off here by using the word "niggler." I think it was in a Bishop thread, but he wasn't the one who was upset by it. It's a real word and it has nothing to do with race. On the other hand, I do occasionally tell my black friends, "That's might white of you!" Which is definitely racist, but the irony of it makes it somehow not as offensive. It's a thin line.
