These are to replace poor quality black market versions of the exact same things.

"Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom - Criterion Collection"
This arrived today and I am amazed that the english dubbed version isn't shitty.

"Cannibal Holocaust - Limited 2 Disc Uncut Edition" I've seen this a billion times but the copy I own is a cheap bootleg.

"Kill Whitey" -- Flesh Parade. Great album and it's time to give my downloaded mp3s a rest and hear a high quality version.

Avalon: If you can imagine anything Panzer buys being used to torture under-aged girls then that would likely be exactly what he plans to use it for.

If not, then it will be used to in conjunction with his peerless collection of tranny DVDs.

@EY. I have tried writing with pens such as those in your pictures and even if they are balanced really well the size causes major fatigue for me.

What do you use them for?

I know you are not making master keying charts (or anything like that) because those style of pens are just too heavy.

I write approximately 20 to 30 full pages (8.5 x 11) in script, approximately another 20 or 30 short notes, and probably 100 signatures on an average day.

For short notes and occasional writing, the fountain pen just isn't worth the trouble. But for prolonged writing, nothing is better.

I guess I'd have to know what you've been trying. The Pelikan comes in various sizes from the M150 to the M1000. I prefer the M800 because it fits my hand best, but I am a larger than average person and most people like the M600. The Piazza Navona is the size of an M600.

My preference is a Pelikan M800 with an 18k gold and rhodium fine point nib using Aurora black ink. I do not "post the cap". With that combination, for me, I get NO writer's cramp or fatigue even after 30 pages.

P.S. My hand size/glove size is 9, the average grown man is about a 7.5. Just wanted to make sure "larger" was not being mistaken for "fatter".

EY: The last pen and paper writing I did was constructing a master (and grand master and so on) keying structure for a small building. It involves writing hundreds of different key cuts (digits) in charts. It wore out my writing hand because it was just unrelenting. 10-20 pages of writing out different key combinations with 5 different cuts per key and at least 5 keys that will work in every lock it gets really tiresome.

I like using mechanical pencils because they are light.

These are all second-hand books bought at some charity-like event. (Money goes to some project or other in Africa or Asia, I believe.) I haven't read any of these in the past; there might be a few doubles (Tolstoy).

I mostly buy books second-hand. In a/m list are some really nice old prints (1920s/30s); the books on that list costed me about EUR 60.

Hmmm, nothing wrong with buying used books. When I was in the military I used to go by used bookstores before deployment and buy about $25.00 USD of used books (all for less than a dollar and some for much less); the cheapest ones were the most tattered. I mailed them off to my Mom when I finished reading them who stored them in a damp basement in cardboard boxes.

Now, years later, time has taken it's toll and most of those old books are practically disintegrating, or the ink is faded, or the pages are browned. I still love finding a great book at a used bookstore, but I am trying to replace my old dying books with newer, nicer versions.

I LOVE mechanical pencils. I actually write very, very tiny and ink smears/runs. Plus they always keep their point.

At the moment the ones I'm using are all Bic disposables I got for $1 a pack when Staples had a special "loss leader" this summer. They had a limit of 2 per type per customer. So I'd buy 2 of each [5/7mm], put them in my backpack, walk 3 or so blocks to the next Staples, buy my quota, walk to the next one, and so on.

I got about 30 packs.

Just bought some more stuff at The Body Shop. I came out with only half the purchase and went to Waldbaum's to buy some stuff that was on sale. Everything was pretty much sold out but I did managed to get 2 jars of Polander preserves (strawberry and peach) that came out to just $0.50 per jar after I used the coupons. I then had to ask for a bunch of rainchecks for the stuff that was unavailable. I then went back to The Body Shop and got the rest of the purchases. One woman(black customer) started to complain that I bought so much and left none for her and that it was unfair
