I had a friend who used to go vacation on some island off of South America close to the equator, The name started with an "M". He went there becasue he liked the resort, the booze was cheap and he could buy cocaine there for 10 to 20 U.S. dollars a gram right on the beach. He also used to get 2 boxes of Cuban cigars and hide them in his girlfriend's luggage to bring home. They were good cigars, IMHO, but I didn't see them being better than some of the higher priced cigars I've tried from local cigar shops around here, except they were contraband. If I had to point out anything special about them was that the taste and pull on the Cuban cigars was consistent right down to a tiny nub. I still don't think you can truly appreciate some cigars with out a glass of good booze.
