Elway is a self absorbed douche. I can't wait for the people of Denver to turn on him while the team wallows in mediocrity. Because lets face it, you only hire a franchise icon to run the show when you know you are going to be bad. Dolphins tried it w/Marino, but when he realized he'd be nothing more than a fall guy, he bolted. Detroit Tigers did it with Trammel as manager, wasn't that the 116 or 119 loss season? Ownership in Denver has no clue.
