Why does it feel so good to get a haircut and a shave?

Look good, feel good. Heck, I feel good looking at my lawn after I mow it.

If you go to a barber shop it has a lot to do with "doing things that males do". Sports on the tube, somewhat bawdy banter, talking to the barber is somewhat akin to talking to a bartender, magazines for men, the smells are all masculine, you're being catered to, etc.... The barber shops around here no longer do shaves though due to liability and aids fears. I just re-read the above and realize how gay it all sounds but I'm fucking posting it anyway.

For real. I like a buzz cut and its easy to do it myself. I don't cut my own hair to be cheap although it is cheaper. I hate having a stranger touch me, especially my head/face. I used to go to a barber years ago but it was something I did out of necessity and I endured it much like most people endure a visit to the dentist knowing they had cavities to be drilled.

A buzz cut I can see doing yourself. You should try getting your hair cut by a chick, then you can feel her boob on your shoulders while she cuts your hair.

I go to a dominican dude. Since i live in a faggot liberal city, they have banned the use of straight razors by barbers (some bullshit health ordinance). But my guy don't give a shit.

An old greek guy cuts my hair. He uses a straight razor still.
