The care you've taken in the depiction of the woman's hair bunched within the sadistically aggressive male's fists recalls van Gogh's masterly work in the wheat fields of Provence.

It was empowering in that it gave her the opportunity to attain her hopes and dreams in a realistic way ... by her own perceived weakness of being a whore.

The problem with hopes and dreams are the moral/ ethical/ psychological/ physical comprimises made to attain them.
