Refs that interfere too much shouldn't stop Hopkins when he's on the top of his game which you can bet on during this cash cow fight that he wants to bank badly. De La Hoya eventually fades in later rounds these days, he's lost 2 BIG fights for cruising in the late rounds when he was winning on the cards. Hopkins can battle with a broken fist and not relent and he proved against Trinidad that he can be tactical to win a fight without always mauling like a criminal. Before he retires Hopkins will want to erase any doubt about if he can beat Roy Jones. jr., which I think he could do if he makes it a brawl where Jones is now rusty because of all those fights against no competition.
