No, she has not been paid. "Money waiting for you" is not the same as being paid.

In a full time job I think it's fairly common for paychecks to be distributed at the jobsite. I'm not sure how common this still is since I myself have not been handed a paycheck since the late 1970's. It's probably common in jobs with high absenteeism.

For a job where you work one hour a week that's unheard of. If one of my clients refused to pay unless I appeared in person I'd bill them my standard hourly rate + expenses (parking, taxi, etc). KSEX would be doubling or more the amount of time Selena had to put into KSEX. It's out of the question for KSEX to want that time for free.

It is common for companies to tell fired workers to show in person for the final paycheck but that is because the company wants to intimidate a now-unemployed worker into signing away rights in return for that last paycheck. This trick often works.
