I think rivercity/esco is like the black ("Dude... please... African American") version of Kyoto/Smartt. Although at least they say why they hate each other. Kyoto and Smartt just post inane and totally incomprehensible pictures back and forth at each other.

A better question is why every bla--- African-American themed message board I've visited always has like 80 million brightly colored fonts and more ads and images than a NASCAR rally.
