I don't see many Forums that don't pitch what they have for sale to support it unless they have those Donation buttons. Donation buttons suck as I think it is better to make product people want and trade it for money to make more. The Forums are a great resource to get feedback as to what you are doing right and wrong with your productions but when it grows big, it costs to maintain it...there IS a tipping point.

It's pretty simple, if everybody sticks to tube sites, bittorrent and rapidshare style links for getting their porn, who is going to be stupid enough to stick around and make new content. Eventually, people will be sharing the same old content for years and years. I can give you many examples of producers throwing in the towel on new productions...including myself and Tony. I even stopped making iPhone Apps when my stuff kept showing up on http://apptrackr.org/
