XPT at its best is a boiling shark tank of whore tears full of bad poster chum. The new registrant jumps right into the feeding frenzy, and, based on where they are on the food chain and what predator(s) they attract, they live or die. And, the living wear their scars with pride.



In my case, I never read much of the past stuff before it was pointed out to me on a relevant case-by-case basis.



I think things like "Quote of the Day" and the "Reliquary" gives people a good taste [at least in the posts where the pic links are dead, etc.] And, those are kept active enough that the noob should encounter them quickly enough.
