Actually it's a rural thing. The no snitch culture, embraced by people like you, makes it difficult for them to find people who will work for the poultry amount of government funds leftover to pay them (too many turtle crossings or ponzi scheme style retirement plans to pay for I guess). A real privatized police force would be well trained just as private ambulance companies train their paramedics very well.

I was lied to in school about how evil America is, how great socialism is, how great government services are, I was even lied to by my parents (although I don't think it was on purpose) who told me the Democrats look out for the little guy, and I believed it all.
