Anyway,the gist of the message that got me banned was that no one was threatening them, but that they'd opened themselves up to ~15,000 counts of extortion and that the smartest thing they could do was pull the plug, walk away and hope nobody noticed. I further suggested that they consult MF to see if that was an accurate suggestion.

I guess they're really touchy on the subject of MF. Who'd've thunk a client would ever be having to defend their lawyer?
