I'll say it out loud. There's a difference in cultures between Japanese and pretty much any other. A certain stoicism in the face of unbelievable...well, unbelievable. Look at their behavior after Hiroshima/ Nagazaki (jondra?) and during the occupation. These are folks that just don't rampage.
