I like cigars becasue of the heavy smoke and flavor. A secondary bonus is when I go to a smoking area to have a cigar and the 2 to 4 pack a day cig-heads bitch about my cigar the way non-smokers feel about cigarettes.

It's like a told a pack a day buddy of mine when he bitched about my cigar. "I smoke these because I like to. You smoke those because you have to." That's why cigarettes don't "work" for us. It's like diet pop. If you drink diet, you can't stand the taste of regular. And vice versa. You don't like cigar smell because you're used to cigarette smell. And vice versa.

My dad was a pipe smoker. I've picked it up the last few years. I've got my dad's little collection of pipes, and I've added a few from eBay and yard sales and such to it. I don't like a pipe as much as I do a cigar. They're hard to keep lit. But I do agree that pipe smoke does smell better than cigar smoke. Just my opinion.
