great pictures, last time i went to a zoo was in mid-winter of maybe 2007. boston's got a phenomenal aquarium(affiliated with wood's hole, so duh) and a rather pitiful two zoos compared with say the bronx or d.c. one, i'm aware the san diego one is way up there.

anyhow, there's a line you can't uncross when it comes to some animals, has to do with guns and no fences at some prior point. obviously, the animals are canned and tame, but they sure look the same.
