nah for realz, i'm impressed ny mag nailed down the truth porn's been afraid of spelling out. the news isn't just how internet killed the dvd star. tube sites have become much more than a piracy issue. porn's issue became something else- shielding a dirty secret. what was common knowledge within porn was kept from mainstream as to not conflict with porn's desire for mainstream acceptance. the secret? that porn is an industry that turned on itself and ended up biting its own tail. quite a conflict for such a society of outcasts, isnt it? always a fine line as to how much truth should be revealed to keep it glamorous enough so it's just a business like regular hollywood and accecptable so its safe like everything else all american but raw enough so there's still that taboo cache of danger to draw a crowd.
i nom this article crossover star of the year
