Only if his PO is very very nice. I have never been on parole but I know with probation you are not allowed to leave the state (this was PA) without special permission. And making porn likely doesn't qualify, but you never know because his vocation is film making.
I really hope he can make more movies but I wouldn't count on it. Hopefully he has some personal archives that he can release.
My guess is that he gets behind the camera or works in the editing bay under a pseudonym.
