60 years out and we have frittered away the prosperity we had after WW2. Maj. Winters and his contemporaries truly earned the title of "The Greatest Generation". We have been getting softer and poorer ever since. You can try to blame it on the Politicians or the Corporations, but I put the blame on the shit head next door, the con artist down the street, the dumbass over there, the lousy parents over there........
Yeah, you get them all in every generation, but the percentages seem to be higher now. Maybe just put the blame on Modern Medicine.
