It's a Catch- 22, no? We live in a free society. We can't, and shouldn't, lock up folks because they act "weird". It's maddening, but unless they're a threat to themselves or others, you can't force someone into treatment. When they make it apparent they are a threat, it's too late. I don't know the fix. Maybe there isn't one.
