And, don't be grousing to the postmaster about how "society is in decay!". Let him know how he's benefiting the community yall are all a part of, etc.. It's probably just your lazy ass not wanting to walk all the way up that tiny driveway you got (which also means you have no intention of talking to the postmaster), but they do feed the guys at the post office that "service to community" dogma at the post office, try to play into that and practise some political savvy.

When you go to sell your house, door delivery would probably be a decent selling point. Make the neighborhood feel more cozy.
