In mi bario it's hit and miss. Sometimes they deliver, sometimes they drop the note.

My biggest bitch with the PO is when we bought our house the city was tearing up and totally revamping the street. New water lines, new sewer, all that shit that goes under the pavement. Major deal, with iffy access when you wanted it. So the PO went from to the door delivery to putting everyone on a motor route. Temporarily, until the project was done, of course. 10 years after said project was done, we're still a motor route. Whenever I have to go to the PO to pick up a package or whatever, if there's no line I'll ask whatever happened to putting us back on door service. Well, of course no one knows, no one makes decisions. They can't say they're just going to keep things the way they are, because that would be too firm. It's a truly fucked up system.
