Not sure how you got that I was complaining for not being the centre of the postman's attention, but I guess we all read what we want into things.

He wasn't doing like your guy does. He stopped at me box, seperated the envelopes from the packages, put the envelopes (6 of them, nothing oversized, nothing bulky, just 6 bills) in the box, then walked 30 feet up the straight walk to the front porch with the boxes. My complaint wasn't even that it was lazy, because I'm pretty sure it was more inconvenient to seperate my mail in the first place. It was more to illustrate a kind of do the job half assed, even if doing it full assed is easier mentality. I somehow doubt that the UPS driver (and I despise UPS worse than I despise Costco) would do something similar.
