flat taxes would be nice.....if it was as a "universal" standard tax...and would be the base for ALL taxes....then they couldnt extra tax ANYTHING....federally, statewide or locally.

No sin taxes....all the way down to local assesments on visitors in the form of taxes on lodging.

Agreed. It'll never happen, though, because there are uber-rich fucks on both sides who would pitch a fit if the topic was even discussed on the House or Senate floor.

Being a moderate sucks more than usual lately. I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative, but I work in the medical industry, so I can't objectively discuss universal healthcare.
