To fill in: Don Zimmer is late 60s-70s. He ran across the field to right in front of the Sox' bench. Pedro never leaves his bench area. When Zimmer gets to him Pedro pushes Zimmer to the ground.

If you haven't guessed, Zimmer is not a nice old man, just old. I don't see that Pedro could have done anything else.
