And that's the thing: To Chuck, it's not about whether the racist shtick is wrong or even tiresome (and it is) but rather that he, Mightydrunk, "singlehandedly crushed it." I'll wager that he doesn't give a damn what the cause is, as long as he gets to be its champion and chief dragon-slayer.
I'll also wager that, however monotonous his sermons are now, he was even worse when he was drinking. How 'bout it, Chuck? Didja get kicked out of Panama for preaching at the Puta Palace?

Well, I started the graemlin thread because I wanted to understand what that graemlin means. So, I'll take this to mean that no, you really don't understand that mis-use of the word meltdown is lame. At least I was trying to understand.
That whole thing about irony is another layer Monkey added that no one responded to.
The thing is, meltdowns should be special. You mis-using the word just cheapens the whole aesthetic and makes you look like a humorless windbag.
Starting to overdo the charin thing and posting private messages has the same effect. I don't think charin really thinks he "defeated racism". Although charin is a preacher, often without substantial understanding of what he's preaching about, that sounds like something he said to piss you off.
Salivating over the Doe troll while having demanded penalizing the ivor one is another example. ivor actually managed to genuinely rattle the nerves in people while Doe gotta single posted "die in hell" out of charin with you standing there calling it a meltdown.

the only thing that would make Gia's geek stand out from the others at gen-con is those Marty Feldman-looking googly eyes. and what's with the long hair? is he trying to compensate for the fact that he has a higher forehead than John Malkovich? he deserves props for being able to hold Gia up long enough to pose for a pic. looks like he'd have trouble curling 30 lbs.

You do not have a great sense of humor and my main concern is the whole acting like a meltdown isn't a meltdown or acting like you "own" somebody when nothing of the matter happened, as I have long been against. It hasn't been so bad lately, but that whole thing used to be so overblown and it was awful. I remember Monstar coming in here making fun of this place because of that.
charin doesn't need and probably does want my help. charin is a tough cookie. He'll find a way to piss you all off on his own... lol

Ok, I've awoken from the dead just to clarify 2 things here.
I have no idea who the guy is who's picking me up in Dave Naz's kitchen. It's one of his friends. Nice try, Mpz, but there are no pics of my last bf and I together.
Never was a Metallica fan. Very talented musicians, but no sticking point for me. Except for Ride the Lightening which I played over and over in 10th grade. Loved that record to death. It sure looked out of place next to my Siouxsie and the Banshees records.

mopez has a serious martyr complex going on which compels him to change his name and sig to "i got banned bro" whenever he hears the voice and it speaks to him - its like Dexter's father but instead of "don't get caught" he hears "you got banned". he gets his juice from bans but has to go to outside dealers since this place could give two shits besides talking donny or posting pics of gloids doin' it.
child is grappling with an array of issues but at least its usually entertaining - i want to say 25% of the time but that'll send him into a quiet funk so i'll say 75 (rent don't buy). on the bright side i think his best years are ahead of him.
