I saw a guy and his small son teasing a copperhead with short sticks on a dirt trail in Valley Forge park. When I pointed out that he was endangering his kid(maybe 6 years old) by harassing a copperhead the guy informed me I was stupid and that there were no dangerous snakes in PA and even if there were they wouldn't be allowed in the Park. He sure taught me. While distracting the guy with the argument I got a longer stick and chased the snake into the brush and away from the little boy. The guy was pissed and I told him to report me to a ranger.
