I get that. I've known tattooers that practiced on oranges and raw turkey or chicken. And I think I read somewhere that there's a fake skin they can use to practice on. But I just can't wrap my head around abusing a poor dumb creature that way. I know that tattooing is done in ag for ID or whatever reasons, but this is just plain cruel.
On the other hand, if someone were practicing tattooing on a little kid or something, I'd be outraged, but probably not as much as over an animal. It's like those UNICEF ads with the sister from the old Roseanne show, with the sad tale of the little kid who spends all his time bringing water back and forth to him mom and eleventyseven sisters. I can watch that and not be moved at all. But that Sarah MacLaughlin one, with the sad eyed pets, well, I'll be honest, I reach for the remote, because I seriously tear up.
Is Olinka aware this is going on?

Well, you need an overhang to protect the interior of the door if you live where you have curtains/blinds or whatever. I think it ight also a security issue if someone was trying to force the door. Your hinges will be outside and someone could remove the pin and remove the door but that is no issue at all if you use security hinges like every commercial hinge around.
When I was designing my place I asked a LOT of folks why residential doors swung in and commercial out and never got a good or logical answer re: the residential. For me, I want out easier in a fire, and I have several areas with double doors and other things inside near the doors where it's more convenient to swing them out folded against the exterior wall rather than inside covering light switches or a hat-rack/umbrella stand or what have you.
An out-swinging door is just more convenient.
Edit: The screen door/storm door issue would be a strike against out-swinging doors.

ours too and to answer berrys question we did it to allow for a stairway/interior space. high wind areas are really the only reason it would matter.
That way leaves the locking cylinders exposed, instead of hidden behind the jam.
