If global climate change is past the point of no return, then it doesn't matter so much how many people deny its existence. The practical approach is assume shit will happen and be ready when it does. Learn how to live on what you can grow, find, or kill. If you use a gun, make your own bullets. People who can't adapt will die, so that's the end of their bullshit, but the whole species might kill itself in wars for scarce resources, so that would be the end of all bullshit. If there's noone left alive to brag about being right, that would be sad.
