The guys with day-glo vests and coin jugs who walk between traffic and collect money for cancer research, pit bulls for blind kids, etc. I don't know what or if they get paid, but that seems like a dangerous way to collect spare change. I wonder how many of them are just beggars who upgraded from "Will Work for Food" signs.

I don't know, but I enjoy giving them my food if I have some in the car.
