What surprises me is from what I've seen on TV, New Yorkers don't seem to care whether the mosque is funded by Al Qaeda or not. They just don't want it by ground zero. At least this segment I saw with megalomaniac Donald Trump was talking about how they were trying to cut some kind of deal to move the mosque a couple of miles down the street, and how New Yorkers would be happy with that.

All I'd care about is where's the money coming from. And, I saw a link hav2cit posted that said the Imam behind the whole thing has radical Islam ties. Therefore, I voted no.
