I dunno, the U.S. could've defeated Germany with the nuke or continued bombing campaigns like Dresden. It has long been since regarded Hitler had too many fronts, thus straining his dwindling capacity to maintain necessary supplies & reinforcements. The Russians were totally unprepared because of the treaty it signed with Germany. As for speculation had fate proved otherwise: Eventually, once Germany had solidified the Reich with the conquering of Europe, the push for Russia would've been more logical. Plus, Hitler would've never defeated Britain, unless his nuke plans were soon realized. who knows...
